I remember being in the 6th grade and not being able to read the chalkboard. I also remember going on hikes and not being able to really see the beautiful Fall trees in the distance. When I was 11 I got my first pair of big blue glasses, and started wearing contacts at age 14. I struggled for years with my contacts, I remember being in tears every morning when they wouldn't fit correctly, feeling as if there were huge uncomfortable boulders in my eyes.
After years and years of contacts, glasses, and not being able to read road signs, God brought Dr. Rich Brown into my life. What a blessing! He talked to me about the possibility of LASIK. My heart leaped at the thought of ending the struggle of poor eyesight. So, I did it! After the procedure my husband helped me into the car. I remember being able to read signs that were 200 yards down the road. And the recovery was short and sweet. Long story short, I feel like the luckiest girl ever to have encounter such an amazing eye doctor who gave me new eyes. Now I can see leaves on trees, can read clocks across the room with out squinting, and don't have to mess with glasses or contacts. I honestly thank the Lord everyday that I can finally see!

LASIK is truly incredible! I am an avid outdoorsman who used to always have to compensate for my glasses and contacts. LASIK has brought a new level of enjoyment to all my pursuits from cycling to canoeing to duck hunting. Thanks Dr. Brown.
